King GM is proud to offer a scholarship for our outstanding students on our surrounding communities. With the cost of higher education on the rise our scholarship aims to help high school seniors achieve their dreams of attending college. The scholarship will be offered to one student from each of the following schools.

  • Loveland High School
  • Thompson Valley High School
  • Mountain View High School
  • Windsor High School
  • Harold Ferguson High School
  • Roosevelt High School
  • Berthoud High School
  • Resurrection Christian School

KingGM.com College Scholarship

The scholarship for which you are applying will be given to one senior from each of the schools listed above. It will be for five hundred dollars each. Applicants will be judged based on merit by an independent panel of judges.

The minimum criteria are as follows:

  • 3.50 cumulative G.P.A. or 3.75 G.P.A. for first semester of senior year
  • Must be involved in a minimum of one school sanctioned extra curricular activity
  • Please print this document and include it with all the necessary documents when applying.

In order to apply, please:

  • Include an essay on why you deserve this scholarship. It should be type written, single-spaced, have one-inch margins, and should be no longer than 2000 words.
  • List any civic or charitable activities you are involved with.*
  • Include your current high school transcripts.
  • Be sure you do not include any photos or make references to any one person by their full name.
  • Include a letter from your coach or club leader stating that you are enrolled in a school sanctioned extra curricular activity for a minimum of one school semester.
  • Include a list of the schools you have applied to or plan to apply with your desired major listed for each school.

The scholarship will be paid directly to the institution of higher education after confirmation of your enrollment. Please provide us with a copy of your acceptance letter from the school in which you will be attending.

All documents shall be mailed or hand delivered to King GMC attention Keith Cater at 4175 Byrd Drive, Loveland Co. 80537. The entire packet must be in our office before 5:00 PM on Monday March 15, 2010, with the one exception of your acceptance letter.

*You will not be disqualified if you have not been involved with any civic or charitable activities.
