The KingGM.com College Scholarship Program
King Buick GMC, in Loveland, CO and King Chevrolet Buick GMC, in Longmont, CO are proud to offer $500 scholarships to outstanding students from local area communities PLUS a grand prize of a $2,500 scholarship**. These KingGM.com scholarships will help high school seniors in the greater Loveland and Longmont areas achieve their dreams of attending college.
Applications for the 2016-2017 School Year will be accepted starting January 1, 2017 and must be received no later than March 30, 2017.
SCHOLARSHIPS* WILL BE OFFERED TO ONE STUDENT FROM EACH OF THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS:
- Berthoud High School
- Erie High School
- Frederick High School
- Longmont High School
- Loveland High School
- Mead High School
- Mountain View High School
- Niwot High School Resurrection Christian School
- Roosevelt High School
- Silver Creek High School
- Skyline High School
- Thompson Valley High School
- Windsor High School
*The awarding of scholarships is based on each school providing a minimum of 5 applicants.
** $2500 scholarship winner is selected by the Management team at KingGM from the $500 scholarship winners.
KingGM.com Scholarship Criteria For 2016-2017:
Applicants for the King GM Scholarship Program must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must be a high school senior for the 2016-2017 school year.
- Applicant must be involved in a minimum of one school sanctioned event or program.
- Applicant must maintain a 3.75 or greater GPA during their Senior Year or a 3.50 or greater cumulative GPA over 4 years.
- Applicant must complete a 1-2 page essay explaining why he or she deserves our scholarship.
- Any application that doesn't comply with all listed criteria will not be considered.
How to Apply For the King GM Scholarship Program
To apply, please send us the following information by regular mail:
- A cover letter that includes all of your available contact information.
- A complete list of your school sanctioned event(s) or program(s).
- A school certified copy of your transcripts to verify your GPA.
- A 1-2 page essay explaining why you deserve a King GM Scholarship.
